There was once a bird who got caught up north, i.e. did not migrate. He was freezing to death. Along came a cow who “ker-plopped” a cow patty on the bird. The warmth saved his life.
Unfortunately, it stank. So, he started to complain. A fox came along. “My, my little bird, what is the problem?” Empathetically listening, the fox said, “Here, let me help you out of the crap you have gotten yourself into. Now, here is some water to wash off with.” And wash off the bird did. Once the bird was clean, the fox ate the bird.
For this there are 3 morals:
1 Sometimes people who get you into crap are not necessarily harming you and, in fact, may be doing you a favor.
2 Sometimes when you find yourself in crap, the best thing to do is to keep your mouth shut and make the best of it.
3 Not everyone who helps you get out the crap you find yourself in is your friend.
